
🔬✨ Welcoming Dr. Andres Gomez to the National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University
On Tuesday, 17 February 2026, from 10:30–11:30 a.m., at Meeting Room M6, Khon Kaen University Science Park, Khon Kaen University, the National Phenome Institute had the honor of welcoming Dr. Andres Gomez, an expert in advanced Microbiomics analysis from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Gomez visited to exchange academic insights and explore applications of microbiomics in animal health and global production systems. The visit was joined by Professor Chaiyarong Navanukraw (Faculty of Agriculture), Dr.M.L. Manida Suksawat (Deputy Director for Academic Services), Dr. Wassana Jamnongkan (Assistant Director for Analytical Services), Dr. Navaporn Sritong (Head of the Bioengineering and Biosignal Systems), and researchers of the Institute. The team presented the Institute’s mission, research infrastructure, advanced analytical services, and strengths in phenomics, bioinformatics, and microbiome applications.
The visit strengthened international collaboration and supports the Institute’s vision to serve as a regional center of excellence in phenomics, advancing research and innovation for sustainable development.
