The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, organized a training program to prepare its laboratories for ISO 9001:2015 certification, advancing its strategy to raise its quality system and organizational management to international standards, with funding from Khon Kaen University revenue for fiscal year 2026.

The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, organized a training program to prepare its laboratories for ISO 9001:2015 certification, advancing its strategy to raise its quality system and organizational management to international standards, with funding from Khon Kaen University revenue for fiscal year 2026.

The training was held on 26–27 March 2026 in Meeting Room 5, 3rd Floor, Science Park Administration Building, Khon Kaen University. Participants included staff from the National Phenome Institute and from Research and Innovation Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, who strengthened their theoretical and practical knowledge in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

The training focused on: • Continuously developing and improving the quality management system • Increasing operational efficiency and reducing process errors • Preparing staff and work systems to comply with international standard requirements • Building confidence among service users and stakeholders The program reflects the National Phenome Institute's role as a lead unit in raising laboratory standards at Khon Kaen University, while strengthening its collaboration with Research and Innovation Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, to sustainably develop research and innovation capabilities.

This collaboration is an important step in raising the operational standards of Khon Kaen University's laboratories to international levels and supporting the future development of health knowledge and innovation.
