
The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, congratulates Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jutarop Phetcharaburanin, Director of the National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, on being invited to become Founding Members of the International Society of Phenomics (ISP), established by the International Human Phenome Consortium (IHPC).
The International Society of Phenomics (ISP) is an international academic organization founded to serve as a central platform for researchers, experts and academic networks from many countries working in phenomics. It aims to bring together scientists, engineers and physicians from around the world to exchange knowledge, data and academic resources, and to promote collaboration among academia, industry and policymakers in order to advance phenomics research and precision medicine globally.
The establishment of the society reflects the confidence of the International Human Phenome Consortium (IHPC) in the capabilities of Thailand's National Phenome Institute. Leading institutions worldwide have joined as founders, including Fudan University (People's Republic of China), the Leibniz Research Institute for Environmental Medicine (Federal Republic of Germany) and Murdoch University (Commonwealth of Australia).
Participation as a founding member of the International Society of Phenomics marks an important milestone for Khon Kaen University and Thailand's academic collaboration network in driving the country toward leadership in phenome medicine and precision medicine, concretely building on the nation's knowledge, technology and capabilities in health sciences at the international level.
