
The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, warmly congratulates Assoc. Prof. Suchaorn Saengnipanthkul, M.D., Assistant Director for Frontier Research, National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, on receiving the prestigious “Ajinomoto Young Researcher Award 2025” from the Ajinomoto Foundation.
The award ceremony took place on 7 October 2025, with Sonchai Kusanchai, Vice Chairman of the Ajinomoto Foundation, presenting the award to honor young researchers with outstanding work and significant contributions to nutrition.
Assoc. Prof. Suchaorn Saengnipanthkul, M.D., received the award for her research “Advancing Pediatric Nutrition Care through Hospital Malnutrition Prevention and Anemia Screening” which plays an important role in developing approaches to pediatric nutritional care, focusing on preventing malnutrition and screening for anemia within the hospital system, thereby sustainably improving the quality of healthcare for Thai children.
The Ajinomoto Young Researcher Award is jointly organized by the Ajinomoto Foundation and the Nutrition Association of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to recognize young researchers whose creative work advances nutrition research for a better quality of life for the public.
