NPI Welcomes U.S. Embassy Delegation to Strengthen Academic Collaboration
The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, was honored to welcome a delegation from the International Academic Partnership Program Thailand (IAPP Thailand 2025), comprising representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, the Institute of International Education (IIE) and leading educational institutions in the United States.

On 29 October 2025, the National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, was honored to welcome a delegation from the International Academic Partnership Program Thailand (IAPP Thailand 2025), comprising representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, the Institute of International Education (IIE) and leading educational institutions in the United States—13 visitors in total.

The visit aimed to promote and strengthen academic collaboration between universities in the United States and Thailand, and to exchange knowledge, experience and approaches to developing cooperation in research and international education.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jutarop Phetcharaburanin, Director of the National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, gave a presentation on the Institute's mission, its research using phenomics technologies, its work to advance phenomic medicine, and its development of a high-performance phenomics workforce through graduate programs. The two sides also discussed opportunities for academic and research collaboration with the visiting U.S. institutions.

The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, thanks the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University, for its support and for the valuable opportunity to welcome the delegation and discuss academic collaboration. The meeting marks another important step in building international academic and research networks, leading to stronger and more sustainable research and education in the future.
