Oxford Nanopore Technologies Singapore Executives Discuss Academic Collaboration with NPI

The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, welcomed a delegation of executives from Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Singapore, who visited to discuss academic collaboration, exchange views and set the direction for international research cooperation.

The discussion focused on developing the plan for a hub of experts in medical microbiome for One Health, with an emphasis on strengthening knowledge and capabilities in microbiome science and personalized medicine—key disciplines driving precision medicine and the future of health care.

Both sides exchanged ideas on developing academic collaboration through Centers of Excellence and on building international research networks to support the sustainable development of medical knowledge, technology and innovation.

The meeting marks another important step for the National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, in forging partnerships with the global biotechnology industry and strengthening Thailand's role in phenomics and microbiome research and innovation on the international stage.
