
The National Phenome Institute, Khon Kaen University, welcomed faculty members and staff from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University, on a study visit to exchange knowledge on the direction and advances of metabolomics technology in pharmaceutical sciences.
The visit focused on sharing knowledge about the application of metabolomics technology in drug research and development, from study design and data analysis to applying the findings in the discovery and development of pharmaceutical products.
Visitors also learned about the institute's advanced analytical instrument infrastructure and approaches to integrating omics technologies to support modern pharmaceutical research, a key mechanism for advancing drug development and health innovation in Thailand.
The visit was a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions and lays an important foundation for further research in pharmaceutical and health sciences in the future.
